Password Policy
In order to meet the requirements
of Visa CISP (Cardholder Information Security Program), EMS and
has implemented the following password policy. All passwords
used must comply with the following guidelines:
Passwords can only be changed when you log in to Merchant
Services. Logging in to Reports will not prompt a password
change. If you are denied access to Reports, login to Merchant
Services and follow the password procedure.
Passwords must be at least eight (8) characters long and less
than twelve (12) characters long.
Passwords must contain characters from all three (3) of the
following classes:
1. English upper case letters (e.g. A,B,C,...Z)
2. English lower case letters (e.g. a,b,c,...z)
3. Westernized Arabic numerals (e.g. 0, 1, 2, ... 9)
Passwords may not contain your user name or any part of your full name.
A minimum of 30 days must pass from the date of your last password change before your password can be changed again.
A maximum of 60 days can pass from the date of your last password change to the date when your password must be changed again.
A history of your past 20 passwords will be maintained, and no duplicates will be accepted.
Activity will be logged based on username. You should give your password to no one.
If you forget your password, please contact Skipjack, and they will reset it for you.
You will be prompted to change your password again the first time that you login. Your new password must adhere to the guidelines shown above.
